Testing in Sandbox

You can freely test in the sandbox environment before moving to production.

API based URL (Sandbox): https://ramp.welloqa.com

For API testing, please contact our team for the private keys needed for the sandbox environment. Once you have the keys, follow our API reference to test using a terminal, IDE, or Postman.

As for the user flow experience in the testing environment, we are working on a testing link that will allow you to directly navigate to our demo website and complete the entire flow for a better understanding. We will update this section once the link is ready.

Fiat Payment Channel Testing

The sandbox environment supports multiple payment methods for testing:

Open Banking (SEPA) - For EUR payments
Card Payment - Via Checkout and Worldpay vendors
MPESA - For Kenya and other East African countries
Mobile Money - MOMO_UGANDA, MOMO_GHANA, MOMO_RWANDA, MOMO_TANZANIA, MOMO_ZAMBIA, MOMO_FRANCO
Bank Transfer - For Nigeria (NGN) and other regions

Below are specific testing instructions for Open Banking and Card Payment which have mock testing flows available.

Open Banking

Currently we support Open Banking for EUR payment for crypto orders. When you choose EUR as fiat currency, you will see the option as Easy Bank Transfer (SEPA icon). You can select it to go through the mock flow of Open Banking.

By clicking continue, you will be redirected to Volt payment page. For a smooth flow, you can go ahead choosing Volt Mock Bank for payment directly. However, if you want to go through other options to see how Volt manages bank transfer, you can also select other options and continue the payment.

Card Payment

For card payment, there are lot of options you can choose. We have two vendors in place and you can test both of them.

Checkout Testing Cards (any test card under Visa/Master) (Recommended)
Worldpay Testing Cards (any test card under Visa/Master)

All these testings only mock the payment flow and aren't what real payment flow is like. Therefore, we would highly suggest you do at least 2 real payments (1 EUR and 1 another fiat currency) to make sure that everything works well before going live.
